Only one entry in my diary today.
In the first division, Liverpool's bid to complete the season unbeaten was unceremoniously halted by (who else) neighbours Everton. In a fitting echo of Leeds Utd's run in 1973-74 it was Allan Clarke's little brother Wayne who did the damage with the only goal of the game on 14 minutes.
