Another boring day today - went swimming in the morning, had a substitute Physics teacher, but the weather was OK. I'm just thinking back, but this was before drinking entered my life, so with all of this swimming and cycling down to (and then back up from) the paper shop everyday I must have been as fit as. And to think that coming of age meant then, and means now, little more than being able to legally buy yourself a pint. Oh boy, this is another one of those, 'if I knew then what I know now...' moments.
